Before You File a Claim
Ensure you have the following information and documents ready:
- Your CNFANS order number and tracking number.
- Clear photographs showing the damage to the parcel and/or items.
- For lost parcels, official proof from the carrier (if available).
- Packing slip or invoice showing item value.
How to Submit Your Insurance Claim
Step 1: Log In & Access the Claims Portal
Sign into your CNFANS account. Navigate to "My Orders", select the affected order, and click the "File Insurance Claim"
Step 2: Complete the Claim Form
Select the reason for your claim (Lost ParcelDamaged Goods). Provide a detailed description of the issue, including the date of discovery.
Step 3: Upload Supporting Documentation
Use the upload tool to attach all required files. Ensure photos are clear and documents are legible. Click "Submit for Review"
Step 4: Claim Acknowledgment & Review
You will receive a confirmation email with a unique Claim Reference Number. The CNFANS insurance team will review your submission, which typically takes 3-5 business days.
Tracking Your Claim Progress
Monitor the status of your claim in real-time:
- Go to "Account Settings""Insurance Claims."
- Find your claim using the Order or Reference number.
- View the current status (e.g., Under Review, Approved, Compensation Issued).
You will also receive email notifications at each major stage of the process.
Receiving Compensation
Once approved, compensation is typically processed based on your original payment method or CNFANS wallet credit. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
